What is included in the Verdejo wine box?
Our LB1 Verdejo is the perfect introduction to this Spanish grape variety. Expect balanced acidity, underlying minerality and rich ripe lemon. Refreshing and lively, its aftertaste invites you to go on drinking.
Jose Pariente Verdejo is probably one of the most recognised verdejos worldwide and a classic example of the variety. Grassy and floral with good acidity making a fresh wine with a characteristic slight bitterness and oiliness. On the palate; herbal, mineral with a finish of tropical and citrus fruits.
Hermanos Lurton Cuesta de Oro is a fine example of a richer style verdejo. A straw-yellow colour with pearl brilliance. An intense nose with a broad range of fruit aromas like lychee, pineapple and mango, as well as woody notes of vanilla and toasted bread. The palate is structured, elegant, well balanced and has a long finish, with a complex range of fruity and smoky aromas.
